When you think of lipstick, you think lipstick.
But the way you apply it, the way it lasts, and the way people love to wear it all combine to make the process so much fun.
So here’s our guide to how to use a lipstick, gloss, or lip liner to create a look you’ll love.
Let’s get started!1.
Apply lipstick or gloss to lips, lips, and eyesFirst, apply your lips and eyes to your skin.
We love the “soft” feel of a lipstick or lipstick liner, as if it were an easy-to-wear, velvety, lip-gloss applicator.
For a gloss, apply it like a glossier, gel-based gloss.2.
Apply lip gloss to cheeks, lips and lips, cheeks, and lipsNext, apply lip gloss over your lips.
This can look like an extra layer of lipstick or a lip liner.3.
Apply gloss to cheekbones and lips Next, apply a gloss to your cheeks, cheeks and lips.
We like to apply a light, sheer gloss over the top of our lips to give our lips a smooth, natural look.4.
Apply a gloss over eyebrows Next, place a thin, thin, or light brush over your eyebrows.
We’ve found that this can look beautiful over our eyebrows to give a slight boost of definition.5.
Apply your lips to lips and eyelidsNext, start applying a lip gloss or gloss liner to your lips or eyes.
The look of a gloss or lipstick or lip liners will change depending on your skin tone and eye shape.
We prefer using lip gloss because it gives a soft, natural finish.
For our favorite lip glosses, we like to mix in a few shades of pink and blue to make our lips look like sparkly, sparkly pink.6.
Apply eyeliner or liner to lipsNext we want to apply eyeliner and liner to our eyes.
We also like to layer a gloss on our eyes to give it a glossy, velved-up look.7.
Apply eye makeupFirst, you want to layer your makeup over your eyes.
If you have a natural-looking eye, we love applying a thin layer of liquid liner over your eyelid and lining up the color to your eye color.
This will give you a smooth-looking, natural, natural-colored look.
If your eyes have some texture, a thin brush will work to give your eyelashes a slight curl.8.
Apply eyeshadow to eyesNext, we also love to apply eye shadow to our lips and cheeks.
For this step, we prefer using a gloss-based eyeshadows.
We use a medium-weight, matte-to beige eye shadow that we layer on top of a light-to dark matte eyeliner.9.
Apply mascaraNext, you’ll want to coat your lashes with mascara.
This step will add a little extra definition and volume to your lashes.
You can use the same brush to apply mascara to your upper lash line or your lower lash line.10.
Apply lips and eyebrowsNext, blend a light matte eyelash cream with your eyeshades and apply it to your face.
You want to blend it into your eye makeup, but it’s also perfect for applying mascara to the outer corners of your lips, or even on your upper lip to give that perfect browline.11.
Apply lashes and eyesNext you want your eyelids and lips to look like they’re looking pretty much the same, and you want a subtle look to them.
If there are any subtle differences in how your eyes and lips look, you can apply mascara here to smooth them out.
